Understand members, households and plots
A person, a membership, a household and a plot are different units.
This guide shows how the association area works. The functions available to you depend on your role and your association’s activation.
What do you need first?
An authorised membership administrator and checked source records. A household sign-in does not prove every formal member’s agreement.
Follow these steps
Members & households
Choose the intended people, formal memberships or households. Keep totals separate; two members in one household remain two people.

Review linked people, allocations and periods. Two plots within this household do not create a second planner account.

Check the site, plot and start and end dates. The same plot number on another site identifies a different plot.
What success looks like
You can explain the records without mixing people, plots and capacity.
Who can see this?
Association relationships do not open a private garden. History does not automatically reveal a former holder’s personal information to a successor.
If something goes wrong
Investigate an unclear duplicate. Do not merge records automatically using only a name, address or email.
